HR SESSION

Department of ECE with the help of the students has planned to organize some monthly events so that every student can come out with their ideas which help to develop one’s personality.

As planned, a HR Session was organized as an event for the month of August. The event was named as HR by Right”. The event was all about educating the students to face interviews and learn the tactics of resume. The HR’s were MBA post-graduates from GVK. They clearly explained the way we should present ourselves. The HR’s told the Do’s and Don’ts of an interview. Registration fee of Rs 30/- was to be paid by everyone to participate in the session.

The HR’s have clarified the doubts of the students and gave a clear picture. The Principal and the faculty of various departments took part and made it a grand success. The HR’s and the Principal were honored.

RULES TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE INTERVIEWEE:

1. While presenting the ideas voice should be clear.

2. Don’t wear dashing colors.

3. Interviewee should be confident.

4. Should be perfect in basics.

5. Good communication is needed.

6. Don’t look surroundings, trust yourself.

7. Answer should be small and understandable.

8. Shouldn’t be over confident.

9. Resume can be 3 pages for a fresher.

10. Superlative degree should not be used while giving answers.

SOME QUESTIONS ASKED BY THE INTERVIEWER:

1. Tell me about yourself?

A) Qualification.

In which you have grip and confidence.

About the companies previously attended.

Hobbies.

2. Why should I select you than an experienced person?

A) The experienced person may not have as much energy and enthusiasm towards the work as a fresher. The fresher wants to show his/her talent and implement the new ideas which help to develop the company.

3. What do you know about this company?

4. What do you like to do in your free time?

5. Why do you want to join our company?

6. Why should I hire you?

7. How do your friends describe you?

8. Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
